Sodachi Blocks are crafted entirely from solid, unpainted Japanese hardwoods, delivering the natural beauty and gentle texture of real wood. More than simple stacking toys, they support children’s growth at every stage.

A Gentle World Born from Natural Materials

Made from 5 to 10 types of Japanese hardwoods—including cherry, beech, oak, and chestnut— each block is finished without paint or coatings.

The natural reds, whites, and browns create a soft, harmonious palette. The scent, weight, sound, and texture of each type of wood gently stimulate a child’s five senses.

Thoughtfully Crafted for the Joy of Stacking

Each block is based on a 4 cm unit, making them easy for small hands to handle and stack. Dimensions are precisely finished to the millimeter for smooth, stable alignment.

Edges are gently beveled to allow for taller, more stable structures, creating that satisfying feeling when blocks fit together just right.

After playtime, the blocks can be stored in a custom wooden box made from Japanese cypress. Its simple, beautiful design encourages children to tidy up naturally.
