Natural Materials & Minimal Packaging
All of our products are made from natural wood, carefully selected and finished to preserve its natural warmth and texture.
We actively reduce the use of plastic in our packaging. By avoiding bubble wrap and excessive materials, we aim to deliver our products as close to nature as possible.
Considering the time and effort required to dispose of packaging at home, as well as the amount of waste produced, we believe simple packaging is kinder to the earth. We appreciate your understanding of this approach.
Zero-Waste Manufacturing
Wood shavings and offcuts produced during manufacturing are never discarded.
They are collected by local farms, zoos, and riding clubs, where the natural cypress scent helps deodorize animal facilities. After use, the sawdust is returned to the soil as fertilizer.
Some offcuts are processed into wood chips and reused for roadside trees in the community.
In addition, for certain products, we use fragrant cypress sawdust as a natural cushioning material—offering customers a small sensory experience, like a one-day cypress bath.
Local Production for a Sustainable Future
We source materials as close to home as possible and manufacture all of our products in Japan.
Reducing transportation distances helps lower greenhouse gas emissions and supports Japan’s goal of carbon neutrality. At the same time, using domestic timber contributes to forest preservation and a healthy balance between supply and demand of local resources.
Natural & Renewable Energy
We combine air-drying with efficient kiln drying.
Although air-drying requires more time, it allows the wood to maintain a natural moisture balance, enhancing its texture and finish when oiled.
This careful drying process is especially important for products made for children. By using both natural and controlled methods, we remain committed to quality craftsmanship while incorporating renewable energy practices.
